This is probably the craziest market I have ever seen. Food items placed right up to the train track, literally right up to it. The train passes through about four times a day and does not slow down for nothing. The signal to get off the tracks is when vendors begin folding up awnings and pushing tables back into the stalls. And then before you know it the train is passing through blowing it's horn, just barely grazing the smaller vegetables and fruit that have been left next to the track for the train to pass over. And then suddenly the awnings come back down, the tables back out and grocery shopping it just another everyday, ordinary, mundane experience.... if only our grocery stores were half as exciting.
